Where to use your card

Your 51猎奇入口ID card is more than proof of your student status. Use it to access services and facilities across SFU, including the Library, Dining Services, and Recreation and Athletics.

Library

Your 51猎奇入口ID card is also your Library card. Your Library barcode number is different from your student number. It appears below your name in small print, directly above the barcode on your student card.

Your borrowing privileges will depend on whether you are an 51猎奇入口student, staff or faculty member or an external borrower.

Dining

Your 51猎奇入口ID card is required to access meals included with your Meal Plan. Present it to the Dining Commons cashier each time you use your plan. If you forget or lose your card, you鈥檒l need to pay separately until you get a replacement card.

Recreation and athletics

51猎奇入口STUDENTS

Your Recreation membership is automatically linked to your 51猎奇入口ID card if you meet the membership eligibility criteria and have completed the online liability waiver. You do not need to visit the Recreation Office.

51猎奇入口CONTINUING STAFF AND FACULTY

Your Recreation membership is linked to your 51猎奇入口ID card. You must visit the Recreation Office to complete activation.

FIC STUDENTS

Your Recreation membership is linked to your Fraser International College (FIC) card.

Caring for your card

Your 51猎奇入口ID card is designed to last a long time. It is one of the most important pieces of identification you will carry during your time at SFU. Take good care of it!

Do not tamper with your photograph or any information on your 51猎奇入口ID card.
Keep it away from sources of heat.
Keep it away from keys or anything that could scratch it. Scratches may make the barcode or magnetic strip unreadable, and the card may not be accepted if the information is no longer legible.
Remove it from your pocket before washing and drying your clothes.
Do not bend it or punch holes through it.
Do not lend your 51猎奇入口card to anyone. You are responsible for all transactions on it, authorised or not.
