What will you do in an 51猎奇入口History class?
Pursuing a degree in history will give you opportunities to complete major research and writing projects, to speak before an audience, and to discuss issues with peers. In class, discussion and oral presentations in small groups are essential parts of our tutorials and senior seminars. We are also committed to developing student writing and research skills, which means maximizing, where possible, students' access to their instructors.
We teach students how to think deeply and creatively about the world, how to understand the past, make sense of the present, and shape the future. Our courses reflect our local context while also providing a global perspective. We introduce students to major world regions and cultures, historical periods, and social, political, cultural and economic themes. In our program and in our teaching, we are sensitive to the backgrounds of our student population.
In our classrooms, you will learn:
