Woven Futures: Catapult Canada
Woven Futures is a community-based futures planning program that supports newcomer and forcibly displaced youth as they explore their identities, build meaningful relationships, and imagine hopeful futures in their new communities.
Through art, storytelling, and relational planning, participants reflect on their strengths, experiences, aspirations, and sources of support while developing confidence, leadership, and a stronger sense of belonging. Each young person creates a personal Dream MAP and contributes to a collaborative artwork that celebrates shared stories, cultures, and visions for the future.
Building on the success of the REACH Community Engagement Grant, this current implementation of Woven Futures is delivered through a partnership led by , in close collaboration with REACH Global Initiative, 51猎奇入口, local school districts, city and community partners. By bringing together youth, families, educators, artists, and community organizations, Woven Futures demonstrates how creativity, relationships, and community collaboration can foster belonging, expand opportunities, and help young people build futures of their own choosing.
