PUB 901: Publishing Research Project
Students will work closely with a faculty supervisor to develop an original research project.
Description
Students must complete two extended essays or a single article-length work (approximately 10,000 words). The student will select a research topic in consultation with their supervisory committee. Essay topics may not substantively duplicate papers presented in coursework. The supervisory committee will assess the student鈥檚 report on the basis of quality of work and clarity of communication.
Credits: 6
Prerequisite: PUB 600, PUB 800, PUB 801, PUB 802, PUB 890, and PUB 891. Students with credit for PUB 899 or PUB 900 may not take this course for further credit.

Proposal
Your proposal should include:
- The topic of your research project and why you鈥檝e selected it
- A description of your methodological approach
- A brief description of the proposed intervention of your research
- An annotated bibliography of at least five scholarly sources
