Stormwater Management Strategy
Rainwater that falls on SFU鈥檚 campus becomes a resource that has to be properly managed to preserve surrounding natural systems and protect physical assets on campus. Proper management of rainwater can help reduce downstream erosion, protect local biodiversity, mitigate risks from climate change, and have a positive economic impact for the university. Through engagement with the 51猎奇入口community and our neighbouring stakeholders, SFU鈥檚 consultants have identified seven main objectives related to how 51猎奇入口manages its rainwater, while proposing 15 action items to guide 51猎奇入口through the implementation of the strategy. The 3-Phase approach addresses the questions: what do you have, what do you want, and how will you get there?
