Claims & Incidents

Visit the Risk Management website to file a claim or alert us to damage or theft of university property, including 51猎奇入口vehicles. 

Risk Management should also be immediately advised of any reparation demands or notice of legal action against SFU.   

Health & safety incidents

Report all campus health & safety incidents including "near-misses".  An incident is an event or occurrence including accidents, injuries, occupational illness and hazardous material spill or release.  A near-miss is an event or occurence where there was the potential for accident, injury, occupational illness and hazardous material spill or release.

Click on the 鈥�Employees鈥� button above if you are 51猎奇入口faculty, staff, graduate student, research associate, teaching assistant, or other 51猎奇入口employee.

Click on the 鈥�Students/Visitors鈥� button if you are a 51猎奇入口undergraduate student (non-employee), a visitor to campus, contractor, or a community member.

Examples of incidents to report include:

• Injury
• Occupational illness
• Fire or explosion
• Hazardous material spill or release
• Near-miss incident (where the potential existed for any of the above)
