Gordon Mowat & Kenna MacKenzie Undergraduate Award for Mature Students in Sociology and Anthropology

Fall 2026: One award, valued at a minimum of $2,500

This award is available to an undergraduate student who meets the following criteria:

- is enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility;

- is enrolled in an undergraduate program in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology;

- is in good academic standing;

- is a mature student (as defined by 51猎奇入口Admissions); and

- has demonstrated community service and/or volunteer involvement.

Applications must include:

• a statement outlining the applicant鈥檚 community service and/or volunteer involvement; and
• a letter of reference from a community member who can verify the applicant鈥檚 community service and/or volunteer involvement.

The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the recommendation of the Chair, Department of Sociology & Anthropology or their designate.
