The webinar was on the global theme for this year鈥檚 World Water Day, Water and Climate Change, looking into the multiple and complex interlinks between water science and policy with climate change.

WORLD WATER DAY
Scheduled World Water Day celebrations and events set for March 22nd, 2020 have been postponed or cancelled in coordination with the World Health Organization鈥檚 recommendations. While these face-to-face events did not take place, and the campaign is ongoing. We have compiled some online events to review in celebration of this day.
Theme: Water and Climate Change
UN-Water coordinates the efforts of UN entities and international organizations working on water and sanitation issues. Their website is a hub of water data, publications, and news.
The 2020 United Nations World Water Development Report focuses on the challenges, opportunities and potential responses to climate change, in terms of adaptation, mitigation and improved resilience that can be addressed through improving water management.

Webinars on contemporary Canadian water issues from experts and leading researchers across the country.

The IWA Young Water Professionals provides a range of activities, services and initiatives to young professionals and students in the water and wastewater sector untill the age of 35.
