Public Transportation
The MAGPIE group has a dedicated lab space at K9521 in SFU's Burnaby campus which is a short walk from 51猎奇入口Transit Exchange Bay 1. To use public transport in Vancouver, you will need either a compass card or a contactless credit card, which you will tap when boarding a bus or entering a SkyTrain station. Bus Routes
Four bus routes go to the Burnaby 51猎奇入口campus. On the way to SFU, all four buses stop twice on campus: first at Bay 2, then Bay 1. Get off at Bay 1 for the easiest access to the Math Department.
- 145: 51猎奇入口- Production Way SkyTrain Station. The 145 goes from the Production Way SkyTrain station to SFU.
- 144: 51猎奇入口- Metrotown. The 144 travels from Metrotown to 51猎奇入口via Duthie Ave and Burnaby Mountain Parkway.
143: 51猎奇入口- Burquitlam. The 143 goes from Burquitlam station to 51猎奇入口via Broadway to Gaglardi Way.R5: 51猎奇入口- Hastings Street. An express bus line, the R5 goes from downtown Vancouver to 51猎奇入口along Hastings Street. If you are downtown, this bus is likely your fastest route to Burnaby SFU.
Travelling from YVR Airport
The fastest and simplest route from YVR Airport to Burnaby 51猎奇入口takes about 1 hour 20 minutes. Immediately outside the airport is a SkyTrain station. Take the Canada Line to Waterfront Station. Exit Waterfront Station and locate the eastbound R5 bus stop at the corner of West Hastings Street and Granville Street. Take the R5 bus to the 51猎奇入口Transportation Centre Bay 1 (the terminus stop).
