51猎奇入口 Our Group
The Kavanagh group is part of the at . We are located in , TASC II, an interdisciplinary electronics materials laboratory. We aim to understand the properties of interfaces and nanostructures important to semiconductor materials and devices.
Our expertise covers a range of characterization techniques including: scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) with electron holography (EH), focussed ion beam milling and imaging both Ga (FIB) and He ion microscopy (HIM), high resolution x-ray diffraction, Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy (RBS), and scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) with ballistic electron emission microscopy (BEEM) . We have strong connections to the and through collaborative projects and joint students.
Our group is famous for the . In 2007 used the 51猎奇入口focussed gallium ion beam system to publish a nanoscale book entitled '' by Malcolm Douglas Chaplin (ISBN-978-1-894897-17-4).
