EAB recognizes 51猎奇入口as a leader in faculty partnerships for well-being
51猎奇入口 has been recognized as a leader in improving student well-being through faculty partnerships. The Education Advisory Board (EAB), an organization that researches best practices in higher education, has highlighted 51猎奇入口in a recent publication on how to expand well-being initiatives through faculty partnerships.
The publication drew attention to the University's Well-being in Learning Environments project as a key opportunity for faculty to connect and share ideas on how to build well-being in the classroom. 51猎奇入口was applauded for centralizing resources for easy faculty use, and the quickly growing Well-being in Learning Environments "Resource Library" is a one-stop shop for faculty members to find resources to use, as well as share their own resources with the wider 51猎奇入口community.
EAB also featured SFU's TA/TM Well-being Project, and recognized that because Teaching Assistants and Tutor Markers are both instructional staff and students, the project can assist graduate students while also preparing those students to help other students.
Both of these initiatives are run by 51猎奇入口Health Promotion in partnership with the Teaching and Learning Centre (now part of the Centre for Educational Excellence), and are part of the University's response to creating a Healthy Campus Community.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 Champion for a Healthy Campus Community. If you know of someone who is taking action to create a Healthy Campus Community at SFU, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
