Traveling Speakers Series
The Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies (GSWS) at 51猎奇入口 is offering the services of the Traveling Speakers Series to the women鈥檚 communities in BC and Yukon.
This program began in September 1990 and has been a great success. For those of you who have not participated before, the Traveling Speakers鈥� Series involves a member of the GSWS faculty, associate faculty, Master, or Doctoral student traveling to a community (outside the Lower Mainland) and speaking to a women鈥檚 group or community college.

Given my interest in carrying information outside the confines of study, I jumped at the chance to add my name to the list of those available for presentations as part of the Travelling Speaker Series that the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies (GSWS) Department at 51猎奇入口 (SFU) offers. I never imagined my choice to do so would result in a spring visit to Haida Gwaii, approximately 1,700 kilometres north of British Columbia’s Lower Mainland.
