COPE Engage Presented at the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) World Congress

July 15, 2026

We are excited to share that the COPE Engage project was presented at the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) World Congress in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

On July 7, 2026, Dr. Atiya Mahmood presented a poster showcasing the COPE Engage project during the conference's poster session. The presentation highlighted the project's work to engage older adults and community partners in co-developing strategies to strengthen resilience to extreme heat and support healthy aging.

The IAGG World Congress brings together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and community leaders from around the world to share the latest advances in aging research. Presenting COPE Engage at this international conference provides an opportunity to showcase the project's collaborative, community-engaged approach and to connect with researchers working to improve the health and well-being of older adults globally.

Congratulations to Dr. Mahmood and the entire COPE Engage team on sharing this important work on the international stage!
