Protection of Privacy
FIPPA, Privacy Management
The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) is British Columbia鈥檚 legislation governing how public bodies, like the university, manage the personal information they collect about you.
- BC鈥檚 protection of privacy guidelines are generally stronger than those of other provinces in Canada. In particular, the guidelines limit the use of software tools that , including some learning technologies, such as Google docs or Dropbox.
