July 31, 2026

The 51猎奇入口 Board of Governors is pleased to recognize the appointment of Peter Mehling and the reappointments of Kamal Basra, Linda Li, Monique Pongracic-Speier, Raphael Tachie and myself by the Government of British Columbia. Together, these Board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise in governance, finance, law, higher education, business, and community leadership.

I am also honoured to have been reappointed to the Board and look forward to continuing to work alongside my fellow Board members in advancing 51猎奇入口's vision and strategic priorities.

Peter Mehling joins the Board following more than 21 years as Financial Controller for the BC General Employees' Union (BCGEU), where he provided financial leadership and governance support within one of British Columbia's largest and most diverse unions. He also served as secretary to the finance committee and as a trustee of a union-sponsored pension plan. Prior to joining BCGEU, he spent 10 years in public practice with Deloitte Chartered Accountants and Scott, Vohora Chartered Accountants. Peter is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of British Columbia.
