FASS PDF awarded Insight Development Grant among faculty memebrs

Dr. Yoonseok Choi, a postdoctoral fellow in Department of Gerontology within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, has been awarded a SSHRC Insight Development Grant as Principal Investigator.
The support work in tandem by enabling the development of new research questions, as well as experimentation with new methods, theoretical approaches, and ideas. Dr. Choi's achievement is particularly notable as he received this award alongside faculty colleagues, underscoring the strength of his research proposal and his growing scholarly contributions.
His project, titled "Avoidance Motivation in Older Age," will investigate how older adults navigate a paradox in later life motivation.
