As of September 1, 2026, 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Úparking permit rates are being adjusted at the Burnaby & Surrey campuses. 

Annual Parking Rate Adjustment 
As part of our regular review, 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Úparking permit rates will increase by an average of 2 per cent, effective September 1, 2026. Rates will vary based on parking type, location, and demand. Your parking permit helps maintain and improve our lots, ensuring safe, accessible and well-maintained parking facilities for the campus community. 

FlexPass Rate Increases
The cost of a FlexPass will increase from $80 to $88 (tax included) effective September 1, 2026. FlexPass continues to be a convenient option for occasional parkers and remains valid at both Burnaby and Surrey campuses.

Hourly and app-based parking rates will remain unchanged.

We recognize that parking is an additional cost for many members of our community. Rate adjustments are kept as low as possible while ensuring 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Úcan continue to operate and maintain parking facilities that support teaching, learning and campus activities.
