Every year, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) community comes together at the annual Cormack Teaching Symposium and FASS Fall Reception to celebrate the winners of the Dean's Medals, Research Excellence Awards, the Employee Achievement Awards, the Cormack Teaching Awards, and the new FASS Newsmaker of the Year Award.

These awards recognize the dedication, hard work, and excellence exhibited by faculty and staff within FASS.

The winners of the Cormack Teaching Awards and the Employee Achievement - Teaching Awards presented at the Cormack Teaching Symposium on September 24^th. The FASS Fall Reception was held October 22^nd in-person at the Diamond Alumni Centre (DAC) where the winners were presented with their award.

Dean's Medals

Awarded annually to continuing faculty members who have demonstrated significant contributions to their field of research and service to their department while in position at FASS.
