Dr. Navas Iannini's research primarily focuses on how informal science education settings鈥攕uch as museums, science centres, makerspaces, and science clubs鈥攆oster relationships between science and society. She examines different dimensions of these relationships, including issues of representation, public engagement, controversy, and scientific literacy. She is also interested in innovative exhibition practices and in how science museums can advance social responsibility, civic agency, and well-being by centring care and courage.
