How to apply

Applications for Reimagine Health 2027 are now open. 

Application deadline: November 29, 2026 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time (PCT)

You don't need to have a fully developed idea or work within the formal health-care system to apply. We welcome people bringing lived experience, community knowledge, professional experience, and a curiosity about creating change.

• We want this application to be accessible and welcoming.
• There are no right or wrong answers.
• We're interested in your experiences, perspectives, and ideas, not your writing skills.
• You can answer in bullet points or sentences.
• You don't need formal education, professional credentials, or experience with systems change to apply.
• If a written application is a barrier, please contact us at community@radiussfu.com to discuss another way to apply.

Application process

• November 29, 2026: Applications close.
• December 7, 2026: Applicants will be notified of the outcome.
• December 14, 2026: Accepted participants must confirm their participation.
• December 17, 2026: Confirmed participants will receive additional program details.

Who is this program for? 

If you are working to sustain health, well-being, and care outside and alongside the formal healthcare system, we invite you to apply. 

This includes, but is not limited to, caregivers, community organizations, health practitioners, medical professionals, doulas, settlement workers, and others providing formal and informal care.

We invite you to apply if you:

• Are passionate about reducing health issues in your community.
• Are curious about systems change.
• Come from a community that is disproportionately impacted by the health issue you want to address.
• Are committed to promoting healthier lives within your communities and want to do so by addressing their root causes.
• Can attend in-person and online sessions from January 2027 to March 2027. 
• Have an idea for ways to tackle health challenges in communities, but haven鈥檛 found the people to share and test your ideas with.
• Are open to exploring different ideas and interacting with people from diverse disciplines and backgrounds. 
• Are open to feedback, engaging with others working within systems, and drawing on new networks to enhance your vision.
