Documentary screening in Portugal

Nearly a decade later, Ode ao que Resta de N贸s (Ode to What Remains of Us) captures the Coemeteria Olisipponis Memorial Collection project at its present moment. Produced and directed in 2025 by Sofia Esperto, a Portuguese filmmaker, this one-hour documentary explores the scientific, academic, ethical, and cultural dimensions of working with human remains.
On July 28, 2026 a public screening will take place in Lisbon hosting the Portuguese community. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session, offering space for reflection and discussion about the project, the film, and the broader questions it raises.
