President and Vice-Chancellor
Dr. Joy Johnson is SFU鈥檚 10th president and vice-chancellor. A distinguished academic and researcher, she is committed to carrying out SFU's vision to be a leading research university, advancing an inclusive and sustainable future.

Elio Luongo
Chancellor
Elio Luongo was appointed 51猎奇入口鈥檚 13th chancellor in June 2026. A distinguished alumnus, business leader, community builder and former CEO and senior partner of KPMG in Canada, he is a member of the Senate and Board of Governors, though not an employee of the university.
